There will be lots of fun activities for all ages at the annual Safety Day with the Metro West Fire Fighters. Kids will enjoy free pumpkins, balloon artists, a kids' creation station, Jake the Metro West official mascot, K-9 demonstrations and lots more. There will also be fire, rescue, EMS and police unit displays, life fire demonstrations, the new Fire Life Safety Education Unit, safety booths and information, lots of giveaways, plus burgers, hot dogs and refreshments.

Located in the Central West End, this 7,000 square-foot makerspace is designed for kids ages 4-14 to play, explore create and collaborate. Visitors have a chance to "paint" on the digital easel, use a pottery wheel to create a clay creation, design for a 3D printer, launch air rockets, build robots and circuits and more!
