The Honest to Goodness Truth is a story by award-winning black author and St. Louisan Patricia McKissack. The adaptation is by Gregory Carr, a professor at Harris Stowe. This home-grown tale features a smart, confident young woman named Libby who learns a valuable lesson about telling the truth with compassion.
