What better way to explore St. Louis' amazing art collections than on a bike? Tour de Museum is a free bike ride that includes an art scavenger hunt, and stops at Citygarden, The Museum of Contemporary Religious Art, World Chess Hall of Fame and the Contemporary Art Museum. Solve the riddles, find the art and be entered to win a prize. The ride, organized in collaboration with Trailnet, begins at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation in Grand Center on Saturday, September 29 at 10 a.m. Free. You and your kids can learn about space, science, the solar system and lots more in a fun, hands-on way during Public Missions at the Challenger Learning Center. Simulated Space missions are geared for families with kids ages 6 and up, and some for families with kids ages 11 and up.
Wagon rides, live entertainment, great festival foods, a petting zoo and much more make this an apple pickin' good time for the whole family. There will be pony rides, a children's carnival, opportunities to feed goats and other farm animals, caramel apples, funnel cakes and more.
Kids can enjoy bubble fun from The Magic House, the St. Louis Police Department Operation Polar Cops ice cream truck, face painting, games, and explore the St. Louis Fire Department fire truck. There will be 300 free lunches provided for children 12 and under.
