Youth Fishing Derby at Des Peres Park

Grab a rod and reel and bring your kids to Des Peres Park for the Youth Fishing Derby.

Kids ages 3-12 can participate in morning fishing, the Longest Fish Contest, and most fish caught in each age division. Bring your own fishing pole and bait.

Check in begins at 7:30 a.m. on Saturday, June 22, and fishing is from 8-10 a.m. Cost is $12 per child for members of The Lodge or residents of Des Peres, and $15 for non-residents. Meet at the Des Peres Park Dock.

Registration is required by June 16. There will be no on-site registration

Halloween Nights at Grant's Farm

Get into the Halloween spirit with some spooky fun and celebrate with the animals at Grant's Farm. Enjoy Halloween tram rides featuring the headless horseman, Halloween lights, spooky scenes, Mad Science shows at the amphitheater, A Monster Mash courtyard dance party, a bone-chilling scare zone, lots of exciting photo opportunities and more. Costumes are encouraged.
