
Not only will kids eat free, they'll get to meet Fredbird, visit the Enchanted Village to take pictures with princesses and superheroes and brush up on sports skills at this end-of-summer/ back-to-school event at IKEA St. Louis from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Fredbird will be on hand from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. to pose for picture with fans of all ages. In the Enchanted Village (noon to 3 p.m.), you'll meet your favorite princesses and superheroes and take photos to cherish the magical moments forever. Photos with characters will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
At the Coaches Corner (1:30-2:30 p.m.), kids can get tips from coaches at the Larry Hughes Basketball Academy. Math and reading tips and teaching tips for parents will be available at the Math and Reading Made Easy workshop from 2:30-3 p.m.
Also at the event, you will get up to two free kids meals with the purchase of one adult entree at the IKEA restaurant. (Kids meals are for kids 12 and under).

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
Meet up in Forest Park for a fun storytime followed by nature adventures! These free story times are open to children of all ages and their caregivers.
Is it time to potty train your toddler? The St. Louis County Library is offering Potty Training 101 to parents of children ages 2-3. This free workshop for parent and child includes a potty-themed storytime, and parents & caregivers will receive information to get them started on the potty training process. Attendees will also receive a potty seat, step stool, training pants and a potty-themed board book.
