Parents, caregivers and educators are invited to What Science Tells Us About Raising Thriving Kids in the Digital Age, presented by The College School with guest speaker Erin Walsh, co-founder of the Spark & Stitch Institute. Every year our relationship with screens intensifies as more of our lives move online. At the same time, parents are getting conflicting advice about the impact of technology on children's health and development.
In this energizing presentation, Erin Walsh will use brain science, stories, and humor to cut through conflicting messages about screen time and kids. She will walk you through the latest evidence and deliver the key protective factors for digital well-being from early childhood through adolescence. You will leave feeling capable and motivated to be the media mentor your child needs as their digital world expands.
What Science Tells Us About Raising Thriving Kids in the Digital Age will be presented on Tuesday, October 1 from 6-7:30 p.m. with a reception after from 7:30 to 8 p.m.
