Based on one of Hans Christian Andersen’s most famous stories and the classic animated film, Disney’s The Little Mermaid takes the audience to a magical underwater kingdom.
In this world, a young mermaid dreams to leave her ocean home to live on land. With music by eight-time Academy Award winner, Alan Menken, lyrics by Howard Ashman and Glenn Slater, and a compelling book by Doug Wright, this tale captures hearts with its unforgettable songs, including “Under the Sea,” “Kiss the Girl,” and “Part of Your World.”
The Little Mermaid is for all ages. Day and evening performances are set for July 17-19 and July 24-26 at the Catherine B. Berges Theatre at COCA in University City.
