Oak Hill celebrated International Day of Peace on September 21.
Approximately 300 students age 3 – grade 6 walked with colorful pinwheels, prayer flags, and banners that promoted peace in a variety of languages and cultures. Students also performed music from around the globe to commemorate the day recognized by the United Nations since 1982. International Day of Peace united the students in celebration with thousands of people in 100 cities around the United States and 37 countries around the world.
