
In honor of the fun-loving North American River Otter, the Saint Louis Zoo is hosting Ottertoberfest, featuring traditional German biergartens, live music, kids activities and more.
Kids can enjoy a River Ranger Game, and "Otter Says" game, otter-themed crafts and a River Otter Docent Biofact table.
Admission is free. At the Saint Louis Zoo on October 1, 2, 8 and 9 from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Beer, bratwurst and other German specialties will be available in the biergarten.
Keeper Chats about otters will be held at the Emerson Children's Zoo each day at 10 a.m.

Read to a friendly therapy dog from DUO Dogs, Inc. After the story, the dog's handler will answer any questions kids have about therapy dogs, pet care and more. For ages 3-11. Registration is required for this free program.
