In this virtual program presented by the St. Louis County Library, local artist Cbabi Bayoc will teach kids to draw their own Black hero.

Featuring all the supplies needed to create your very own super hero, Tyler will show your kids the tricks and super skills to create their very own super hero, inspired by some of his creations featured at MADE for Kids.

Join New City School on February 17 for a virtual Spotlight On: Upper Division. Learn about the curriculum and what a day in the life is like for students in 3rd through 6th grade. Connect with Head of School Alexis Wright and Upper Division Head Laurie Smilack, as well as members of the faculty. You'll also hear from a panel of current students about their experience learning and growing at New City School. Participants will learn from Dr. Andrew Butler, Chair of the Department of Education at Washington University and current New City School parent, about how current brain science and education research supports the teaching methods used at New City School.

The Dance Season Preview at COCA offers audiences a peek inside what dancers at COCA have been developing over the past year. The performance features COCA's three Pre-Professional Division student dance companies – Ballet Eclectica, COCAdance and COCA Hip Hop Crew – in a mix of excerpts and full works.
