
Get ready for some simple chemistry fun with Mad Science! At this free workshop, preschoolers will learn simple chemistry concepts and make some modeling dough to take home.
With the new Science Lab, kids will put on their lab coats and step into the role of a scientist. Using real tools found in professional science labs, visitors will study matter and motion, observe the life cycles of different species, investigate rocks and minerals, and explore a variety of science subjects through fun, hands-on experiences.
Visit the Play Street Museum for some Fossil Fun! In addition to playtime, kiddos can learn about dinosaurs on the Discovery Rug and take a turn at making salt-dough dinosaur fossils.
Follow the bunny trail to The Magic House and get your morning hopping at the museum's Bunny Breakfast. The special guest will be – you guessed it – the Easter Bunny himself! Reservations are required.
Free activities for kids include superhero games, caped crusader crafts, robot demonstrations with Rockwood Teams, interactive STEM activities with Code Ninjas and "Little Ninja" training with Premier Martial Arts.
The festival features exhibitors from conservation organizations, vendors selling recycled art and craft items, tree seedling giveaways and more. A recycling drive-through will take place in the south parking lot from 9 a.m to noon.

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
Sensory Friendly Science Time features reduced noise, modified lighting and sensory-friendly demonstrations at the Saint Louis Science Center.
See the Purina Incredible Dog Team perform extraordinary feats of athleticism and skill right here in St. Louis at Union Station this summer and early fall. Performances are free and take place at the Purina Performance Plaza in front of the St. Louis Wheel Thursdays through Sundays at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m.
