American Girl Doll Event at the Missouri Botanical Garden
Meet Lea Clark, the 2016 American Girl Doll of the Year at the brand new Brookings Exploration Center at the Missouri Botanical Garden.
You'll discover the rainforest in the Climatron, make a craft in the Exploration Center's new PlantLab and then head to the Doris I. Schnuck Children's Garden for a special ice cream treat. Children will receive a bag filled with special goodies, admission to the Children's Garden and ice cream.
2-4 p.m. Admission is $15 for adults (age 13 and up) and $25 for children.
Food Trucks at the St. Charles Soccer Complex
Enjoy fare from 14 food trucks and listen to live music at the St. Charles Soccer Complex.
Families can indulge in delicious food and listen to live music by Matt Wynn at this family event. Bringing your own blanket or lawn chairs is recommended. 5 to 8 p.m.

Messy Painting Workshop
There are few things little ones love more than getting creative and messy! At this free painting workshop, kids can take part in an entertaining and messy painting session.

A-MAZE-ing Cockroaches
Kids will replicate a famous study using live cockroaches and play dough at this free workshop presented by The Butterfly House.
Kids ages 7-12 will replicate a famous study by zoologist Charles Henry Turner. Working in teams, kids will build a maze out of play dough and run live cockroaches through it.

Space Travel
Kids can race a balloon rocket and design their own car engine as they learn about space travel.
They'll see the principle of propulsion at work in a real rocket launch, and build their very own Shuttle Copter to fly to the skies!
