Frozen in February Dinner Dance

Girls can ask their favorite Valentine guy (dad, grandfather, uncle, etc.) to this enchanted evening at The Lodge of Des Peres. Couples will enjoy a special dinner, dancing, a photo opportunity and party favors.

Elsa and Anna from Frozen will be special guests and will entertain and pose for pictures with guests. Don't miss this very enchanted evening!

Family Med School Basics

Families can spend a morning at the Saint Louis Science Center with anatomy and physiology experts from Adventures in Medicine and Science (AIMS) and Physical and Athletic Training Programs at Saint Louis University. 

Activities include a virtual tour of the major organs and body systems utilizing a fully dissected human cadaver and hands-on anatomical dissections. There will also be discussions of some medically important disease processes and ways to stay healthy and unjury-free. Ideal for parents and their children in grade 5 and up.

Kids ages 5-12 can get ready for the big game at this football-themed party. They'll participate in games, crafts, make s'mores around a campfire and each some delicious football-themed treats.

Build a Valentine Mailbox Workshop for Kids

At this free hands-on workshop, kids ages 5 to 12 can build a wooden valentines mailbox to hold all of their valentines just in time for Valentine's Day. All supplies will be provided.

Participants will receive a free Kids Workshop apron, commemorative pin and certificate of achievement.

Super Selfie Workshop for Girls

Girls in grades 3-8 are invited to this workshop led by professional photographer Cathy Lander-Goldberg, author of Photo Explorations: A Girl's Guide to Self-Discovery Through Photography, Writing and Drawing, to create a portrait reflecting their inner selves.

Then, participants will write about the portrait and create a collage using the image. Girls should bring a copy of a favorite childhood photo to the workshop to incorporate into their artwork. 

12:30 to 2 p.m. at Art Unleashed in Chesterfield. Cost is $25 per person.

The Lodge Des Peres offers Dancing Darlings youth dance classes each year. Our program spans the school year starting in September and ending with a wonderful recital in April. The program is affordable and centrally located for your convenience. 

The Lodge Des Peres offers a variety of fitness, sports, aquatic, dance and art programs for both kids and adults throughout the year. Drop in and use our gymnasium, indoor wave pool, lap pool or fitness center for fun indoor activities when the St. Louis weather gets extreme.
