
Kids can trick or treat and enjoy some not-so-spooky Halloween fun at Trunktoberfest sponsored by the St. Charles Community College Foundation. There will be lots of activities for kids, food trucks, and an outdoor movie at sundown. Costumes are encouraged!
There is something for the whole family at the Valley Park Halloween Haunted Hayride and Trunk or Treat. In addition to hayrides, kids can enjoy the Bubble Bus, face painting, a costume contest, trunk or treat, a pumpkin patch maze, caramel apples, free hot dogs & chips, free pumpkins (while supplies last), kettle corn, and a Halloween movie too!

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.
Storytelling in the Museum is an in-person storytelling event happening at 10:30 a.m. at the Missouri History Museum. This event, perfect for the preschool set, features engaging stories with themes like Juneteenth, Sweet Treats, Summer and more. Storytelling in the Museum is free.
Explore songs, finger plays, music and more during this Music & Movement class for ages 0-6. Some sessions are held in person at various branches of the St. Louis County Library. Some sessions are virtual.
