Want to learn how to write a script for a TV show? What about learning how to draw and animate an original character? Or how about designing your very own video game? Young people will have the opportunity to learn these skills and more at the Webster University School of Communications’ 2023 summer camps! Campers can sign up for any of the four camps offered in the month of June 2023. Camps being offered this summer are Scriptwriting, Animation, Game Design, and Film, Television, & Video Production. Each camp runs one week, Monday-Friday, 9am-5pm daily, and campers will be taught by professors from the Webster University faculty.
During each program, students will learn a variety of skills associated with their camp’s theme, they’ll get to work with professional-grade, state-of-the-art equipment in the newly-renovated west wing of the Sverdrup Complex, and will walk away with a final project at the end of the week. Camps are open to all skill levels, ages 14-18. Camps cost $350 each and will be held in the Sverdrup Complex on the campus of Webster University in Webster Groves, MO.
