
Parents are invited to attend the Spooktacular Kindergarten Fair to learn about Charter School opportunities in St. Louis. Bring your kids in costume for trick or treating while you learn about kindergarten options.
Schools represented include: The Biome School, St. Louis Language Immersion Schools, Confluence Charter Schools, City Garden Montessori, Gateway Science Academy, Lafayette Preparatory Academy, EAGLE College Prep and more.

Bring your whole family to learn, explore and play on the farm at Family Hike and Play Day at Willoughby Farm. Explore the nature trails and then enjoy games around the farm yard.
Cost is $2 per person with a maximum of $10 per family.
This family-centered play date, sponsored by Parents as Teachers, is designed for parents and their children ages 6 months to 3rd grade. At the block party stations, you'll explore early math and science skills together with your child. At the nature stations, children will do hands-on activities that stimulate their curiosity and understanding of the world around them. Other actitivies include music and a playground.
Kids love Captain Underpants! Come meet the author of the wildly successful Captain Underpants book series at the St. Louis County Library on Aug. 30. Kids can wear their super hero capes for this special night of storytelling, games, giveaways and wild fun.

Bring your appetites to The Magic House for a brunch fit for a Very Hungry Caterpillar! Kids will munch on delicious foods just like the Very Hungry Caterpillar, enjoy hands-on activities inspired by the book collection, create their own Eric Carle insect and have the Magic House all to themselves as they enjoy some private playtime in the Very Eric Carle exhibit.
Ike Day, a former librarian for the City of Edwardsville, will lead preschoolers through a wonderful story telling time in the treehouse at the Watershed Nature Center in Edwardsville. The stories are focused on teaching children about nature through storytelling and exploration.
Enjoy this free movement class for you and your baby at the Pulitzer Arts Foundation. The Pulitzer has collaborated with Urban Breath Yoga to create a movement and sound class for infants up to 12 months with a parent or caregiver.
Led by instructor Stacy Broussard, with live music by a harpist, cellist, flutist, and vocalist with Chamber Music St. Louis, these classes will engage infants and their caregivers in gentle movement and light yoga.
Beautiful Forest Park is the setting for the annual free concert performed by the St. Louis Symphony, complete with fireworks to end the show.

Open Gym at Miss Kelly's Gym is an opportunity for any child to have supervised free play in the gym. They can work on existing skills, try something new, or simply play around. It is completely up to them! Open Gym is open to both members and non-members ages 12 and under.
Learn ways to nurture your baby's development and make new friends in a relaxed, supportive environment at Baby & Me, a free class offered at the St. Louis County Library. Baby & Me classes are for parents and caregivers with pre-walking infants ages 0-12 months.
The Saint Louis Science Center has expanded its Preschool Science Series to include new offerings for different age groups of young scientists. Storybook STEM is for ages 3 to 5.
