Forsyth Summer Discovery

Summer begins here! With nearly 50 camps developed by Forsyth School faculty, Summer Discovery provides kids age 3 through Grade 6 with an appropriate mix of structure, freedom, and challenge.

Different weekly themes allow kids to become engineers, artists, cyclists, filmakers, spies, performers, climbers, designers, scientists, photographers, explorers, and more! Forsyth Summer Discovery is a place to play, try, make, be, and do – on the high ropes or obstacle course, in the science lab, on the stage, and on the field.

Located on Forsyth School's one-of-a-kind campus featuring a gymnasium, Adventure Center, Sport Court, track and field, playgrounds, and Big Backyard, Summer Discovery offers a largely "unplugged" experience with a neighborhood feel. Kids enjoy lunch with friends, daily pick-up games, and lots of water games and play!

Whether it's playing with sculpture, storytelling, and song at Creative Arts Camp, or learning how to audition for a play at Summer at SLU, MTC's professional teaching artists bring fun and growth through the arts to campers of all ages. As one of St. Louis' oldest and most respected theater companies, MTC brings the best in arts and theater to all of our camps.

Campers entering Pre-K through 5th grade enjoy fun-filled days exploring drama, visual art, creative movement, and music with professional teaching artists. Creative Arts Camp takes place at New City School July 27-31 and August 3-7.

For campers entering 6th-8th and 9-12th grades, Metro Theater Company and Saint Louis University invite students to explore acting (advanced acting for high school students), audition techniques, playwriting, stage combat, and makeup with professional theater artists in Grand Center. All skill levels are welcome. Campers also swim weekly and lunch is provided daily by SLU dining.
