Kids Night Out at Third Degree Glass Factory

Third Fridays at Third Degree Glass Factory are always family friendly, but in April, it's all about kids! It will be a party not to miss with make-your-own art projects, Pi pizza and a sing-along dance party.

Kids can hang out with the creative crew from Artscope St. Louis and create their own unique drawings. The hot glass and flameworking demo artists will help transform kids' creations into works of 3D glass art! There will also be plenty of Pi pizza to enjoy, and awesome fire spinning by St. Louis Fire Technicians.

The Three Little Pigs Family Musical

Bring your kids to this heartwarming free performance of the classic "The Three Little Pigs" family musical.

Edie's Fairytale Theatre performs this fun and educational family favorite featuring three silly, little pigs that try to outsmart the Big Bad Wolf. Along the way, the three little pigs learn to cooperate in the nick of time by working together to build a house and outwit the Big Bad Wolf. Not by the hair of your chiny chin chin will you want to miss this extraordinary, interactive performance!

Free Helmet Safety Check

Have your child's bicycle helmet professionally checked for fit and safety at this free event. Pre-registration is required.

Trained professionals from St. Louis Children's Hospital will check for a correct fit for your child and make sure that the helmet is approved for current standards at no charge. If your child needs a different helmet or does not have a helmet, approved helmets will be available for $11. Parents and children will be taught how to put a helmet on correctly so they can continue this important safety practice at home.

Free Swim and Gym Night at the Lodge

Families are invited to enjoy everything The Lodge has to offer, including the indoor wave pool, tot pool. slide and gymnasium for free at this free family night. 

Dinner and snacks will be available in the cafe. For all ages. Please bring tennis shoes if you'd like to play in the gym. Access to the fitness center is not included. Reservations are not required, but space will be limited if capacity is reached.

Free Kindermusik Class: Rock and Roar with The Lion Guard

Get ready to rock and roar with your little one at this free Kindermusik class at the Community Music School of Webster Groves. 

Kids ages 2-5 will enjoy the musical adventures from Disney Jr,'s new series The Lion Guard as they explore the African savannahs to the beat of some of their favorite tunes. You can also bring The Lion Guard fun home with a playful mask, tattoos and buttons.

Weave Like a Birdy Parent-Child Workshop

Explore texture and color through weaving! Let nature be your guide as you and your child work together to incorporate natural and manmade materials into your own woven work of art.

The workshop, held at Laumeier Sculpture Park, is for kids ages 4-7 with an adult.

The Secret Garden

Delve into the life of young Mary Lennox in this classic tale performed by children ages 8-16 at the West County Family YMCA.

In the story, Mary Lennox, a difficult child who loses her parents, finds a new family. With the help of this family, friends and a secret garden, she learns the value of hard work, friendship and love.

Presented by Chesterfield Community Theater. Performances are Friday, March 11 and Saturday, March 12 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, March 13 at 3 p.m.

Is it time to potty train your toddler? The St. Louis County Library is offering Potty Training 101 to parents of children ages 2-3. This free workshop for parent and child includes a potty-themed storytime, and parents & caregivers will receive information to get them started on the potty training process. Attendees will also receive a potty seat, step stool, training pants and a potty-themed board book.
