Meet Clifford the Big Red Dog

Your kids can enjoy a story time, fun activities and a visit from everyone's favorite big red dog, Clifford! Don't forget your camera!

This event is part of Children's Book Week at the St. Louis County Library. Free.

Clifford the Big Red Dog will appear:

Monday, May 2 at 6 p.m. at Headquarters Branch

Wednesday, May 4 at 10 a.m. at Grant's View Branch

Friday, May 6 at 10 a.m. at Grand Glaize Branch

Saturday, May 7 at 10 a.m. at Rock Road Branch

Reservations are not required.

Just Like You at the Zoo

Join St. Louis Children's Hospital at the Saint Louis Zoo for activities that teach children why it's important for people - and zoo animals - to take care of their bodies. 

At Just Like You at the Zoo, children collect animal cards at four stations throughout the Zoo. After the cards are collected, they win a prize. Register for this event at the north or south entrances of the Zoo.

Just Like You at the Zoo will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 22 at the Saint Louis Zoo.

Parent-Child Workshop: Painting: All About Color

Enjoy a fun afternoon exploring color with your child at this parent and child workshop. You'll learn to mix acrylic paints and put color to canvas as you create a family masterpiece together.

Saturday, June 11, 2 to 4:30 p.m. For kids ages 4-7 with a parent or caregiver. Cost is $45.
