Kids can once again go to town learning about safety because Kirkwood Safety Town has returned to The Magic House. Co-created by The Magic House and the City of Kirkwood, this interactive exhibit is designed to educate the region's youngest residents about safety. Kirkwood Safety Town features a child-sized neighborhood including a fire station, police station, electric company, farmers market, park, house, and even a train station! Safety Town also features a bike helmet-fitting station and scheduled visits from community helpers, including firefighters and police officers.
From noon to 4 p.m. in the Museum at the Gateway Arch, visitors can earn a unique "Night Skies" patch with a National Park Service Ranger, take a selfie in the star-studded photo booth, and explore the constellations with the flight crew from the Challenger Learning Center! Nature Cat will also be at the park to celebrate National Kids to Parks Day.
Art Fair at Laumeier is a nationally acclaimed fine art and craft fair at Laumeier Sculpture Park featuring food and beverage vendors, hands-on art activities for kids, live music and more. Now in its 32nd year, the fair is a Mother's Day Weekend tradition in St. Louis.
