This fun, festive block party is free and open to all! With a focus on literacy, the Ready Readers Block Party will have book and bike giveaways, free food, prizes, storytelling, circus performers, face painting, and more!

Camp out under the stars in Emmenegar Park with your family and enjoy a bonfire, games, owl prowl hike, camp songs and more.

Kids can enjoy games, face painting, prizes, safety-focused activities, free bicycle helmet fittings, and hot dogs as they learn about water safety, fire safety, personal safety, poison control and 911 skills.

Witness high-flying canine athletes, experience up-close encounters with farm animals, or visit adoptable cats and dogs all at the Purina Farms Visitor Center, located just 30 minutes west of St. Louis! Officially opening for the 2024 season on April 20 & 21, guests who visit opening weekend will get the first look at the newly renovated Visitor Center lobby. Visit on Saturdays this season to attend the NEW magic show focused on responsible pet ownership.

Celebrate Ted Drewes 95th anniversary with activities for the whole family, plus delicious frozen custard! The St. Louis family-favorite institution invites everyone to celebrate this milestone with them and enjoy complimentary snacks, giveaways, surprises and custard.

Bring the whole family to the Summer Camp Kick Off at Craft Alliance and experience a hands-on preview of the fun your kids can have this summer at Craft Alliance art camps and family programs. There will also be a special performance by kid-favorite musician Marko Polo! 

Come see fire trucks, meet firefighters, enjoy fire-station-themed crafts & games, visit dress-up and sensory stations, and more at the Fire Trucks & Fun event at the Edwardsville Children's Museum. There will also be time for face painting and playtime in the museum!
