The Edwardsville Children's Museum (ECM) invites the community to get their first look – and first listen – of “Stories of the Nickel Plate” during a special opening event from 12:30 p.m. to 4 p.m. The day includes free admission to ECM and Nickel Plate Station and children’s train rides around the ECM campus.

Hop, crawl or slither over to Play Street Museum for a visit with Serengeti Steve and The Reptile Experience. Kids will have play time in the museum as well as a fun, interactive show featuring live reptiles. 

Trick-or-treat and enjoy not-so-scary fun for the whole family, dogs included! Ghoulish Games, Creepy Canine Corner, magic shows, bounce houses, canine performances, and more. Dress your family and your pup in their favorite costumes to participate in our Costume Paw-ty. Reservations are required.

Kiddos can choose a pumpkin to paint and take home as well as engage in other pumpkin fun.

Come out to beautiful and spooky Babler State Park for Halloween family fun like no other experience you'll find! Take a walk down the "terrifying trail" that will take you through multiple haunted cabins. Stay for some Halloween-themed crafts and complete the experience by adding on a hotdog meal and s'mores?
