Sensory Story Time is geared to families with young children who are on the autism spectrum or who have sensory needs. Children of all abilities are welcome.

Celebrate 50 years of Metro Theater Company at the Fall Family Festival. Enjoy a full weekend of free theater, education and fun for families and young people. All are welcome at the Fall Family Festival, featuring multiple free performances each day of Metro Theater Company productions and a celebration of the creative spirit of the company's two co-founders Zaro Weil and Lynn Rubright. Plus, enjoy a scavenger hunt, arts and crafts, and other hands-on learning activities for young people of all ages. Food trucks will be on-site for al fresco dining, and other arts and education partners from across the region are participating. 

Toddlers and preschoolers will explore nature through tactile activities and crafts at this special "messy" event. Children, from walking to age 5, will have a blast getting messy while learning to discover the world around them. Reservations are recommended. Walk-ins are accepted based on availability.

Step into a world of spine-tingling, spooky fun at City Museum's one-of-a-kind Halloween festival: Fright at the Museum. Prepare to be amazed as you embark on a journey through a realm of oddities and curiosities that will leave you and your family both thrilled and captivated. 

See special effects, the Theatre of the Odd, Circus Harmony performers (Saturdays and Sundays), multiple exhibits like the Mingo Monster Mash, Spinderella's Sac, Web Town, the Skeleton's Ball, and lots more. 

Not ready for the big scares? Visit the Haunt-ish House at Healthworks Kids' Museum, which is designed to be perfect for Halloween lovers who want all the un-boo-lievable fun without the scary part.
