Butterfly Magic with the Fishin' Magicians
Egg. Larva. Pupa. Butterfly. That's magic! The Fishin' Magicians make learning this basic science fun for all ages using magic, puppets and humor.
Join the adventure with them and Pipevine, the caterpillar, as they help kids understand the importance of butterflies and caterpillars in ecosystems.
7 to 9 p.m. Free, but reservations are required by the day of the event. At Powder Valley Conservation Nature Center in Kirkwood. For reservations call 314-301-1500.
Make Tracks for the Zoo
All ages are invited to participate in this annual fundraiser run/walk that helps support the conservation programs at the Saint Louis Zoo.
Just Like You at the Zoo
Join St. Louis Children's Hospital at the Saint Louis Zoo for activities that teach children why it's important for people - and zoo animals - to take care of their bodies.
At Just Like You at the Zoo, children collect animal cards at four stations throughout the Zoo. After the cards are collected, they win a prize. Register for this event at the north or south entrances of the Zoo.
Just Like You at the Zoo will be held from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on May 22 at the Saint Louis Zoo.
Spring Wild Flower Hike for Families
Explore the Phantom Forest and Bittersweet Woods Conservation areas
during this spring hike for all ages. You'll enjoy the freedom and fun of nature while bonding with your kids during these themed hikes, sponsored by the City of Des Peres and the Lodge of Des Peres.
During this hike, you'll learn how animals in the forest hide in plain site.

Parent-Child Workshop: Painting: All About Color
Enjoy a fun afternoon exploring color with your child at this parent and child workshop. You'll learn to mix acrylic paints and put color to canvas as you create a family masterpiece together.
