Space Travel
Kids can race a balloon rocket and design their own car engine as they learn about space travel.
They'll see the principle of propulsion at work in a real rocket launch, and build their very own Shuttle Copter to fly to the skies!
Part of the Art at Your Library series at the St. Louis County Library. Presented by Mad Science of St. Louis. For ages 6-11.

June 9 at 6:30 p.m. at the Jamestown Bluffs Branch
June 21 at 3 p.m. at the Grand Glaize Branch
Water Works
Preschoolers (ages 3-5) can experiment with floating, sinking, absorption and lots more in this free workshop that's all about water.

Clay Play at The Magic House
Kids can get behind the wheel as ceramicists from Krueger Pottery demonstrate the art of 
working with clay. Kids will coil, pinch and throw their own earthenware creations. Part of the Visiting Artist Series.
Saturday, May 14 from 9:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday, May 15 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Play & Ride at the St. Louis Carousel in Faust Park
Enjoy a fun play time at the Carousel in Faust Park. Kids ages 5 and under, along with a parent or caregiver, can enjoy the play room and rides on the carousel between 10 a.m. and noon. Play & Ride dates are subject to change, so please check the full listing before you plan to go.
Safe Kids Day Festival
Visit the West County Safety House during the Safe Kids Day Festival for free bike fittings (and helmets while supplies last) and let your kids take ride to Safety Town.
The festival also includes free food, games and prizes, and a raffle of dinner with the West County EMS and Fire crew.

Movie Night at the Metro West Firehouse
The Metro West firefighters are hosting Movie Night at the Firehouse featuring Disney's Planes: Fire & Rescue. Children are welcome to view the fire truck and ambulance before the show.

Three decades after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, a new threat arises. The first order attempts to rule the galaxy and only a ragtag group of heroes can stop them with the help of the resistance. Enjoy this free showing of Star Wars: The Force Awakens at the West County Family YMCA in Chesterfield on Friday, April 8.
Admission is free, popcorn will be available for $1. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and the movie begins at 7.
