Catch the St. Louis County Library's Virtual Little Readers Festival from September 26 through October 2, bringing concerts, puppet shows, read alouds and more right into your home.
Join Ready Readers at the 2020 Winter Story Fest, where there will be a winter carnival with hands-on activities for kids and a live performance of The Tortoise and The Hare by Circus Kaput! This festival includes lots of activities celebrating literacy recommended for kids under age 10.
Celebrate reading at the Little Readers Festival. This free event features a variety of activities and performances, and kids ages 5 and under will receive two free books and a shaved ice. Activities will be provided by Ready Readers, the Animal Protective Association, St. Louis Cardinals, Nine Network, Ladue Fire and Police Departments, We Stories, Read From the Start and others. Guests will also enjoy performances by Mr. Stinky Feet and story times with Llama Llama.
At this free Born to Read program for kids ages birth to 8 years and their parents or caregivers, each family will receive a free copy of the book, while supplies last.
Wagon rides, live entertainment, great festival foods, a petting zoo and much more make this an apple pickin' good time for the whole family. There will be pony rides, a children's carnival, opportunities to feed goats and other farm animals, caramel apples, funnel cakes and more.
Put your thinking hat on and join in the Family Fun GPS Scavenger Hunt at Babler State Park, where you'll discover new areas of the park as well as some history. Families will work together with a GPS unit to find areas around the park.
