Visit Play Street Museum's newest attraction – the Pop-Up Art Studio! In the studio, kids can focus on process art, which allows children to develop their own creations. Process art is more about the creation, imagination, and development rather than the final art projects.
Come craft and create with cardboard, sticks, and twine to build a fairy or gnome home of your own design. Children will have numerous supplies to use, so come create some magic!
Grab a spot and join Play Street Museum for a socially distant patio party! Guest will learn about squirmy worms and bugs. Each child will make their own "dirt" to eat, engage in a bug hunt with dirt, and we'll round out the session with story time. This is an outdoor event and space is very limited.
Storytelling in the Museum is now offered virtually on Zoom from the Missouri History Museum! Tune in every Friday at 10:30 a.m. for engaging stories with themes like My Missouri, Pets, Fall into Outdoor Fun, Friendly Bears, and Happy Halloween.
Make art. Go on a guided tour, DIY a time capsule. Peek behind the scenes. Watch the Cassily Crew at work. Help inspect the slides. All from home! Every Monday through Friday the staff, crew, artists and historians at City Museum are going LIVE on Facebook to share stories, offer free art classes, and entertain kids and families in all the ways they know how (read: mischief, mayhem and making).
