The city of Wildwood is holding a community-wide celebration open to all that includes a parade, tons of kids' activities, art festival, live music, fireworks and more at Celebrate Wildwood.
The fun begins with a parade at 10 a.m., followed by opening ceremonies at 11:30 a.m., kids' activities from 11 a.m. to 6:30 p.m., food vendors, a wine and beer garden, live music, vendor booths and craft booths. Fireworks are scheduled for 9:15.
Activities for kids include face painters, balloon artists, a climbing wall, pony rides, games and challenges, bounce houses, water slide and more.

You and your kids can learn about space, science, the solar system and lots more in a fun, hands-on way during Public Missions at the Challenger Learning Center. Simulated Space missions are geared for families with kids ages 6 and up, and some for families with kids ages 11 and up.
Wagon rides, live entertainment, great festival foods, a petting zoo and much more make this an apple pickin' good time for the whole family. There will be pony rides, a children's carnival, opportunities to feed goats and other farm animals, caramel apples, funnel cakes and more.
Kids can enjoy bubble fun from The Magic House, the St. Louis Police Department Operation Polar Cops ice cream truck, face painting, games, and explore the St. Louis Fire Department fire truck. There will be 300 free lunches provided for children 12 and under.
