The Chess Club and Scholastic Center of St. Louis is offering free group chess instruction to kids and teens through the St. Louis County Library. Instructors will provide digital chess classes that teach fundamental chess elements in addition to promoting educational values that can be learned through chess. Students are encouraged to demonstrate sportsmanship and to strive for success in the digital classrooms as well as over the chessboard at home. For ages 8-14.
Sessions are free, but registration is required.
