Christmas Eve provides a backdrop to explore the arrival of four spirits sent from beyond to teach a miserly Scrooge about the interconnectedness of people and the importance of kindness, compassion, and community. This free performance is geared toward kids in grades kindergarten through grade 5.

Kids ages 8 to 11 will enjoy a true maker experience, including laser cutting, LEGO robotics, clay creations, printmaking and more. 

Kids can use their observation skills to discover the wonderful biodiversity in their own communities while meeting animals that make their home in Missouri and Illinois. 

For those of you who just aren't morning people, Eckerts is offering Breakfast with Santa at Dinnertime. It's exactly like Breakfast with Santa, but at dinnertime. Children can tell Santa their Christmas wishes, and Santa will have a special gift for each child.

Spend some quality time with Santa and enjoy a yummy breakfast in Bluebird Park in Ellisville. Registration is required.

This Mini Monster Mash is designed for kids 8 and under, so it's full of non-scary fun! Costumed kids will enjoy s'mores as they decorate pumpkins. Everyone gets to take home a treat-filled goody bag.

The Creve Coeur Police Department and Creve Coeur Fire District welcomes all to stop in to the station for a fun, free Trunk or Treat and Halloween Party. There will be lots of treats for all kids in costume and even prizes for the best and most creative costumes! 

Costumed kids ages 10 and under are invited to the annual Children's Costume Parade at Westport Plaza, kicking off at 6 p.m. at the patio near World Wide Technology.

Trick or treating is free for children up to age 12 and no registration is necessary. 

Come see the floating pumpkin patch at the South City Family YMCA and enjoy a night of spooky fun! There will be swimming, a water slide, pumpkin decorating, family selfie station, and pumpkins to take home. Come prepared to make a splash. 

Enjoy a fun fall hayride, dress in your Halloween costumes, and gather some sweet treats at the Trunk or Treat at this Halloween-themed event sponsored by the city of Valley Park. There will also be The Bubble Bus, a pumpkin maze, bonfire, face painting, and a special showing of Hocus Pocus after dark. 

Kids are welcome to wear their Christmas pajamas to have cookies and take photos with Santa at this fun holiday celebration. Families can also enjoy cookie decorating, Christmas crafts and games, a cookie and cocoa bar and letters to Santa.

Kids 12 and under who complete a fitness challenge upon arrival can earn free admission to The Magic House and enjoy lots of fitness-related fun. Registration is required. 

Spend the evening enjoying a safe, free, indoor Halloween celebration for the whole family, including dinner, games, trick-or-treating and a hayride. Pre-registration is required.

Wear your costumes for this family Halloween event, complete with trick or treating. Guests will also enjoy music by DJ Divine, and everyone gets a goody bag. 

Kids will have tons of wicked, spooky and science-filled fun at the Mad Science Halloween Party at the Carousel in Faust Park. 

Celebrate the harvest and Halloween at the last Schlafly Farmers Market of the season. Come dressed in your spookiest or cutest, because the costume contest will be held at 5:30 p.m. and is for kids, adults, and dogs!

Halloween Family Fright Night features games, a DJ, a balloon artist, Halloween crafts, inflatables, airbrush tattoos, and lots more. It's designed for kids ages 3 to 10 and their families.
