New this season, Teaching in Room 9 takes learning beyond the classroom as viewers discover our region's resources. Children will explore the coloring wall at the Missouri History Museum, learn about dinosaurs at the Saint Louis Science Center, and experience African art and mummies at the Saint Louis Art Museum, just to name a few. 

Ruh-roh! Scooby-Doo and the gang invite families to solve a gem of a mystery at the SCOOBY-DOO! Mansion Mayhem exhibit at The Magic House. This immersive experience allows families to analyze clues and put their problem-solving skills to the test.

This playtime session is designed to ignite the joy of unstructured play, allowing kids to immerse themselves in the tactile and imaginative realm of their slimy creations. Each participant will take home their custom-crafted construction slime.

Visit Faust Historic Village to learn about life in the late 1800s. At the Folklife Festival, you can stroll through the village and check out the crafts and demonstrations, and experience a traditional Indigenous People's pottery firing. Visitors can also watch corn husk dolls and rope being made, candles being dipped, cooking demonstrations and more.

Catch the Pixar animated classic A Bug's Life at this outdoor movie night for the whole family. In addition to the movie, families can enjoy hours of fun with steel drummers, crafts, glow necklaces and food trucks prior to the movie. 

Celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Contemporary Art Museum with a free block party that features activities for all ages.
