Open House Fall Festival at The College School

At The College School, we explore the world through authentic experiences, empowering our students to engage deeply and be ready for what is next. Come to our Fall Open House (featuring Amazing Science Demonstrations with the Saint Louis Science Center) on Saturday, November 12 from 9 a.m. to noon to hear about our newest offerings and updates, including: renovated play spaces, a digital recording studio, and a state-of-the-art learning center on our second, 28-acre property.

Opera on the GO! Sensory Friendly Program

Join Opera Theatre of Saint Louis for a fun, engaging 70 minutes of movement and stage makeup workshops, both with audience participation, followed by an abbreviated performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's hilarious The Pirates of Pemzance tailored to kids with sound sensitivities.

Trick or Treat Spooktacular

Kids ages 12 and under and families are invited to participate in the Trick or Treat Spooktacular at Taubman Prestige Outlets, complete with a pumpkin carving and a special visit from Captain USA and Wonder Gal.

Activities include trick or treating at the stores, balloon art, face painting, and free, reusable treat bags for the first 500 kids. Event check-in is located at the mall entrance near Brooks Brothers.

2 to 4 p.m. Free.

At Taubman Prestige Outlets in Chesterfield Valley.

Sea Lion Shows at the Saint Louis Zoo

See the Zoo's California sea lions perform acrobatic and athletic feats, including Olympic-style dives on a high-diving platform, flipper walks, frisbee tosses and plenty of surprises. While on stage with the sea lions, the Zoo's trainers explain sea lion behavior and positive-reinforcement training, in addition to the need for conserving the sea lion's ocean habitat.

Miriam Celebrates Neurodiversity, Supports Unique Learners

At Miriam School, students with complex learning differences are supported and celebrated as they grow academically, socially and emotionally.
