Enjoy carnival rides, a parade, kids' entertainment, live music and more at this three-day festival in Schroeder Park. 

The Butterfly House becomes The BOOterfly House in October to celebrate all things creepy and crawly. Kids can hang out with Professor Von Flytrap and his friends in the Creepy Crawly Cave and have lots of hair-raising fun.

The annual Kirkwood Greentree Festival will be held September 13 - 15 in Kirkwood Park. This free, family festival features a parade that steps off on Saturday at 10 a.m. beginning at Kirkwood High School, entertainment and food vendor booths, and kids activities.

Enjoy tons of family fun at Chesterfield's Fall Festival. There will be live music, miniature pony rides, a petting zoo, carnival rides, pumpkin painting, a mechanical bull, balloon twisters, a photo booth, hay rides and plenty of festival food. Visit the vendor area to shop for crafts, too.

Little Buds is a half-day nature program for kids ages 3-6 hosted by Laumeier Sculpture Park. At the Little Buds Free Family Day, kids and parents can participate in art and nature activities and learn about the Little Buds program.

It's the Not-So-Haunted House that is oh-so-fun and where storybook characters come alive! Kids are invited to dress in their most "boo-tiful" Halloween costumes and have a ghoulishly good time going on a spook-tacular scavenger hunt throughout The Magic House to find trick-or-treat locations, and seeing their favorite storybook characters.

Daytime Playtime is an open gym for children ages 2-5 where the possibilities for fun and learning (through fun) are endless! Children will participate in activities that build coordination, strength, balance and self-confidence. They'll develop stronger motor skills, social skills, and take part in theme-based creative activities.
