The Kenya's Kids interactive exhibit introduces children to the East African country of Kenya, a country both technologically advanced and filled with longtime traditions. As part of the exhibit, families will discover the many similarities and differences in the daily lives of children in Kenya. 

Thomas & Friends: Explore the Rails is pulling into The Magic House's station! Surrounded by everyone's favorite blue engine, Thomas, kids can explore the Island of Sodor's iconic locations: Knapford Station, Sodor Steamworks and more.

Delight in brilliant, colorful light displays with spectacular photo opportunities throughout the Zoo during Wild Lights. Walk through two tunnels with dazzling lights, and enjoy themed displays featuring snowflakes, candy canes, gumdrops, penguins, polar bears, tigers, giraffes and much more at this St. Louis family-favorite holiday tradition. New this year: Visits with Santa!

The Loop Ice Carnival is a festival full of frosty fun for all ages. Held on Delmar Blvd. in University City, the carnival features live ice carving demonstrations, 50+ ice sculptures, ice slides and ice games for kids, snowflake ballerinas, beloved Blues mascot Louie, live music, a live drone show and lots more.

Visit with summer camp representatives and learn about summer camps and activities for all ages at this free Summer Camps and Activities Fair sponsored by the Lindbergh School District. Families from all school districts are invited to attend. 

Santa is visiting Clementine's to share some frosty treats and photo ops with your kids!

Ring in 2026 with your littles at the Edwardsville Children's Museum! Put on your party clothes and get ready to celebrate New Year's with crafts, face painting, party hats, sensory bins and a balloon drop at noon. 

Mrs. Claus is the host for this year's dinner at the Saint Louis Zoo! Families can enjoy a warm meal with Mrs. Claus and other costumed characters, photos with Santa, and then venture out to enjoy Wild Lights.

Visit the Ballwin Golf Course for a meet & greet with Santa, hot chocolate and a festive ride through the course. Keep an eye out for the Mean Green Grouch and his silly helpers! Count the number of candy canes along the way for a chance to win a prize.

Those of us who can't stay awake until midnight can join the Missouri History Museum for a New Year's Eve countdown with two balloon drops! Visitors will enjoy live music, making crafts a super-sized story time followed by balloon drops at 11 a.m. and noon.

Kickaroos is an instructional soccer program for kids ages 18 months to 6 years that's built on having fun! Kids can experience the fun of soccer in an engaging, high-energy class designed just for them.

Your little one can wear pajamas and bring their favorite stuffed animal as they develop literacy skills during Pajama Story Time with the St. Louis County Library.  

Enjoy a day of culture, performance, and tradition during one of the region’s biggest Kwanzaa celebrations. Celebrated at the Saint Louis Art Museum for more than 25 years, the free annual Kwanzaa Celebration is presented in partnership with Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc., St. Louis Metropolitan Alumnae Chapter.

Gather your pack – your kids and your cold-nosed companions – for a pet-friendly visit with Santa this year at Purina Farms. Cold-Nosed Candids are for families and their cats and dogs to have their photos taken with Santa, have snowball fights, visit the gift shop and more.

The Foundry Art Centre's Merry Makers Market is a two-day event showcasing regional makers, designers and artists selling handmade items. Admission is free. The Mini Market is a special opportunity for kids ages 12 and under to shop for items priced under $20 and choose gifts for their loved ones and friends.

Code Ninjas in Wildwood is offering Craft & Code Adventure Full-Day and Half-Day Camps on Wednesday, November 26 for ages 5-14.

Winterfest 2025 will host special guests on Sundays. Some of your kids' favorite characters will appear for free meet & greets and photo opportunities at Kiener Plaza's annual winter festival.
