Children can trick or treat in costume at participating downtown Kirkwood businesses and City Hall. 

Join the Missouri History Museum for a movin' and grovin' Halloween party! Kids are encouraged to wear their costumes while they participate in candy-free trick or treating, Halloween-inspired spooktacular stretches, fun crafts and more. And if you're brave, stop by the family-friendly Haunted History Clubhouse!

Science Saturdays combine stories and science make-and-take activities for science-inspired fun! Science Saturdays are geared toward with children who are candidates for Pre Kindergarten, Junior Kindergarten and Senior Kindergarten.

Science gets spooky at the Saint Louis Science Center's Halloween Science Spooktacular! Get ready for science thrills at this no-cost, candy-free event packed with Halloween-themed festivities for the entire family.

Attend the Harvest Festival at the Waldorf School of St. Louis to celebrate Halloween and the autumn season. Families will walk through the Halloween Harvest Village, visiting a candlestick maker, a farmer, a baker, a fisherman and a surprise magical guest! A short activity and a small, natural gift of the season accompanies each stop along the way.

Kids ages 7-14 are invited to a Halloween Flashlight Hunt in Kirkwood Park under the night sky! Guests will gather for a pizza party at the Sugar Creek Pavilion followed by a flashlight dance party and an adventurous Halloween egg hunt.

The St. Louis Blues are visiting Winterfest and kids ages 4-9 will have an opportunity to try playing hockey with them for free.

Costumed kids ages 10 and under are invited to the annual Halloween Parade at Westport Plaza, kicking off at 6 p.m. 

Families can enjoy the Fall Fest Kid's Zone and all the fun of the farm at the Grant's Farm Fall Fest. There will be seasonal treats, animal feedings, a petting zoo, themed photo spots, and the world famous Budweiser Clydesdales too!

Visit the Missouri History Museum for a sensory-friendly evening for all attendees with autism and their companions. Enjoy an exhibit tour of the 1904 World’s Fair with specially designed sensory-friendly activities that will engage participants while respecting sensory needs. There will also be storytelling in the History Clubhouse, musical performances, and interacting with Duo Dogs in the Grand Hall.

Celebrate Día de los Muertos (the Day of the Dead) in Clayton on October 25. Families can enjoy live music, traditional dancers, arts & crafts, food vendors, local artisans, face painting, a community & pet alter and more. 

At Sensory Friendly Night at Boo at the Zoo, families can enjoy festive decorations, Zoo attractions, entertainers, special food and drink menus and more in an environment for individuals with sensory sensitivities. This special night will mirror the traditional Boo at the Zoo experience, but also includes sensory maps, quiet areas and trained Zoo staff to assists guests.

At Breakfast with Santa at Eckerts, your child can tell Santa their Christmas wishes, have their photo taken with him and decorate some holiday cookies while your whole family enjoys a farm-fresh breakfast. 

Edwardsville Children's Museum invites families to participate in the Worldwide Day of Play. Dedicated to joyful learning through play, this event is focused on getting kids and their families up, out, and playing around. 

Calling all superheroes! Gather at the Edwardsville Children's Museum for a night of adventure! 

Explore Ballwin's parks with your toddler or preschooler with the Little Explorers program, held twice a month. Each Little Explorers outdoor class includes a craft, snack, and lots of activities to get you and your toddler moving and exploring!

Kids can climb into the driver's seat and explore big trucks - maintenance trucks, emergency vehicles, and machines and learn about how they work in the community. Everyone is invited to come in costume and enjoy some spooky treats.

This free, family-friendly night out features pumpkins, crafts, games and more. 

Visit Faust Historic Village to learn about life in the late 1800s. At the Folklife Festival, you can stroll through the village and check out the crafts and demonstrations, and try your hand at 1800s crafts.
