Summer Camps Go Virtual for 2020

Summer camps that serve kids and teens in the St. Louis area are expanding options online in response to the COVID-19 crisis, in some cases offering live, interactive, virtual camps. In addition, some camps are offering spring camps and classes you can sign your kids up for right now. Some traditional camps have also lowered camp enrollment limits and instituted safety checklists for in-person camps.

Parenting During the Pandemic: Overwhelmed and Exhausted

No, last Saturday I didn’t plant a victory garden or make a sourdough starter. I wasn’t the mom who created movie tickets and set up a concession stand in my house for movie night (seriously, WHICH ONE OF YOU DID THIS and how did word get back to my kids?). Online Classes for Kids from Mad Science of St. Louis

Have fun with science at home! Mad Science online classes bring science to you, and are designed for ages 5-12 (kindergarten through 6th grade). These interactive classes make science learning super fun for your children. Only one child per household needs to be registered. Classes are $10 for one class, or $7.50 per class when you register for 2 to 4 classes, and just $6 per class when you register for 5 or more classes. Themes include Mad Mixtures, Optical Illusions, Under Pressure, Kitchen Chemistry, Dry Ice Capades and more. Classes take place via Zoom from 2 to 2:45 p.m.

Saint Louis Zoo's #BringTheStlZooToYou Virtual Visits

Although the Saint Louis Zoo is closed to the public, the animal care team is sharing photos and videos of the animals and lots of information about the zoo your kids are sure to love!
